What can Jay-Z teach us about traffic stops?

We recently read an article from the Saint Louis University Law Journal written by Caleb Mason. In the article, which can be found at the link below, Jay-Z’s song 99 Problems is analyzed under potential violations of the 4th amendment. It is a great analysis of what a person’s rights are during a traffic stop and the different searches a police officer is able to perform based on the circumstances. Check it out if you are interested in learning more about traffic stops and have some free time.
