Tennessee’s Voter Law: Must have ID

07 September 2011 Categories: All Blogs

A law passed in the last session of Tennessee’s General Assembly requires voters to have a photo id when they go to vote starting in 2012. One side of the aisle states it prevents voter fraud, while the other side says it is an attempt to keep their supporters from being able to vote. No matter what the reasoning is, it is now the law, and Tennesseans should be aware of it going into the next major election year. Knoxnews.com has posted an article about the law and the possible impact.

McNulty & Associates believes every Tennessean should take an interest in the laws that could effect them, and we attempt to post relevant content that each person should be aware of.
