The LA Times has an article about a news video from a Memphis news station that went viral. Evidently the Knoxville, TN man featured in the story has 30 children from 11 different women and the children range in age from infants to 14. He is having trouble paying child support for all the children while working a minimum wage job.

Having 30 children may not be best thing to do, but it technically isn’t against the law. What is against the law is not paying court ordered child support. Tennessee uses a child support calculator that takes many factors into account, one of them being other child support amounts you are currently paying.
