Randy Moss claimed on waivers by the Titans

The Tennessee Titans have claimed former Minnesota Vikings receiver Randy Moss, sources told our Adam Schefter. Moss plans to report to the Titans, league sources told Schefter. If Moss does not report to the Titans, Tennessee will send him a “5-day” letter and at the end of that five days, they have the right to put him on the Reserve/Left Squad list. He would be out for the remainder of the season once the club takes that action. Moss’ status for next year would be determined by terms of the new collective bargaining agreement.

The Titans were faced with the absence of receiver Kenny Britt, who hurt his right hamstring on the Titans’ second drive in a 33-25 loss at San Diego in Week 8. The Titans don’t know how much time he’ll miss yet because Britt is still having tests on his leg, though coach Jeff Fisher said he would tell reporters if the injury was bad enough to end Britt’s season.
