New Circuit Court Judge for Rutherford County Down to Three

The nominations for the new circuit court judge that will handle cases in both Rutherford County and Cannon County in Middle Tennessee has been narrowed down to three. This is the statement from tncourts.gov:

Nashville, Tenn. – The Judicial Nominating Commission met in Murfreesboro on Friday, Aug. 17 to review the 13 applicants for the 16th Judicial District Circuit Court vacancy. The vacancy was created by the appointment of Circuit Court Judge Don R. Ash as Senior Judge. After holding a public hearing and interview for each applicant, the Judicial Nominating Commission has recommended the following three candidates to Governor Bill Haslam:

Keta J. Barnes
Municipal Court Judge
Smyrna, Tennessee

M. Keith Siskin
Magistrate for Rutherford County Juvenile Court
Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Howard W. Wilson
Private Practice
Wilson & Bradley
Murfreesboro, Tennessee
