LegalZoom settles lawsuit for $5 Million

It has been reported that LegalZoom has settled a class action lawsuit in Missouri regarding claims that LegalZoom was providing legal services to citizens of Missouri without a license to perform the legal services, also known as the unauthorized practice of law. This could create class action lawsuits in other states. LegalZoom’s disclaimer on it’s website states:
