Judge Phillip Robinson will remain the Davidson County Circuit Court Judge after the election yesterday. Judge Robinson was very recently appointed by Governor Haslam to the position. McNulty & Associates anticipates that Judge Robinson will be presiding over half of the domestic law docket (see our blog on changes in Davidson County divorce). Judge Robinson is a prior law partner of Judge Smith, who currently handles the domestic law docket in Nashville. We would like to congratulate Judge Robinson on his election.

Rachel Bell won the election for Davidson County General Sessions Judge, and we would like to congratulate her on her election.

The election for Circuit Court Judge of the 21st Judicial District, which includes Williamson County, was won by Mike Binkley. Mr. Binkley defeated Judge Derek Smith, who was recently appointed by Governor Haslam to fill the opening. We would like to congratulate Mr. Binkley on his election.
