Domestic Violence Prosecution in Nashville

The Tennessean has a story about domestic violence prosecution in Davidson County.

Mayor Dean has asked for $125,000 in his budget proposal to add two more prosecutors to the domestic violence area. This will be part of a plan in which Nashville is trying to improve its efforts and reputation regarding how the city deals with domestic violence. At McNulty & Associates, we too often see domestic violence through some of our divorce cases. Unfortunately the justice system can be reactive instead of proactive, and hopefully measures like this one taken by Mayor Dean will help improve the domestic violence system in Nashville.
